"Los Islotes, in Mexico’s Sea of Cortes, is home to one of the world’s friendliest and interactive sea lion colonies. I had been watching this Californian sea lion pup for a couple of minutes as it played with the large school of bait fish above. As soon as it noticed me it swam to the bottom, picked up a piece of broken coral and started to play drop the coral, pick up the coral, like a puppy with it’s stick. Then quick as a flash it just hovered above me and got its picture taken." - @wildestanimal Camera: Nikon #D800e Lens: Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 16-35mm f/4G ED VR Settings: 16mm | f/7.1 | 1/250s | ISO 800 #MyNikonLife #Nikon #NikonAustralia #NikonTop #Photography #UnderwaterPhotography #AquaPhotography #SeaLion #WildlifePhotography 3 days ago
"With constant weather changes around Mt. Cook in Winter, you never know what you are going to get. So, you just go, again and again. Several times I woke up at 3AM, made the drive over to Tasman Lake, then the 30-45 minute trek in the pitch black to find myself all alone at the lake's shore for some night sky and sunrise shooting. Most of the attempts resulted in less than ideal conditions, but this time the clouds held off just enough to allow for the capture of the stars. Stars shine brightly and reflect upon the aqua coloured lake and ice bergs float nearby, eerily crack and make noises in the dark as they melt and flow into the Tasman River on their journey to Lake Pukaki." - @geoffpiperphotography Camera: Nikon D850 Lens: Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 14-24 F/2.8G Settings: 20mm | f/2.8, 15s | ISO 1000⁣ #MyNikonLife #Nikon #NikonAustralia #NikonTop #VisitNewZealand #DiscoverNewZealand #Photography #LandscapePhotography #AstroPhotography 4 days ago

"Capturing a lightning strike is the crown jewel for me in landscape photography. I'm not sure if its just because I rarely get the opportunity to capture storms as they usually happen while I'm at work, or because I can never track them properly. But this shot has now gone down in one of my top 5 favourite shots ever captured here in my hometown, Sydney. Hopefully it won't be the last." - @luxlusive Camera: Nikon #D800e Lens: AF-S NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8G ED Settings: 35mm | f/5.6 | 8s | ISO 100 #MyNikonLife #Nikon #NikonAustralia #NikonTop #Photography #StormPhotography #DiscoverAustralia #VisitAustralia #DiscoverSydney #VisitSydney #OperaHouse #SydneyUncovered 1 week ago

"To me an image like this is the reason I constantly chase storms. Those freezing cold mornings when everything is covered in ice, rough sea and relentless wind all fade away when you can watch some of the biggest waves on earth and just enjoy being there to capture it." - @renmcgann Camera: Nikon #D850 Lens: AF-S NIKKOR 70-200 F2.8 FL ED VR Image settings: 170mm | f/7.1 | 1/1000s | ISO 400 #MyNikonLife #Nikon #NikonAustralia #NikonTop #Photography #DiscoverAustralia #VisitAustralia #AustraliUncovered #AquaPhotography #OceanPhotography #StormPhotography 1 week ago
"I’d headed off to Coogee not expecting much as the forecast was for a sunny day with a reasonably low tide occurring for sunrise. I arrived about 30 mins before sunrise to see a few scattered clouds around and had taken a few shots when I noticed a slight pink tinge starting to occur on the small area of cloud behind the pool. Since it was low tide, I was able position my tripod and camera to make the most of the reflections as the colour increased. Adding to all this was that there was nobody swimming in the pool, which for a summer’s day, was unusual." - @pjr_images Camera: Nikon #D750 Lense: AF-S Nikkor 16-35mm F/4G ED VR Settings: 35mm | f/14 | 13s ISO100 #MyNikonLife #Nikon #NikonAustralia #NikonTop #VisitAustralia #DiscoverAustralia #Photography #LandscapePhotography #SunsetPhotography #DiscoverSydney #SydneyUncovered #VisitNSW 1 week ago
"I was standing next to a river with some small rapids making a nice foreground. The Aurora was one of those that you always hope for, it went for hours, morphing into many different shapes. I kept shooting and eventually gave up around 12:30 after six hours of non stop action. With such active auroras it’s best to keep the shutter speed as short as possible for a sharper image of the actual aurora. This was a great location with no light pollution and the rapids providing a nice foreground." - @phannanphoto Camera: Nikon #D850 Lens: AF-S NIKKOR 14-24mm F2.8G ED Settings: 14mm | f/2.8 | 2s | ISO 1600 #MyNikonLife #Nikon #NikonAustralia #NikonTop #Photography #AstroPhotography #AuroraBorealis #Aurora 1 week ago
