There was a super intense sunset in Sydney about a month ago, where the whole sky glowed orange. I happened to miss that sunset as I chose to go out to the Blue Mountains that evening, definitely not as good but the sky still didn’t disappoint! 😍 β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” 3 images blended for exposure and focus @sonyaustralia A7Riii @nisifiltersaustralia 3 stop medium GND + CPL @siruiaustralia W-2204 β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” 5 days ago
It’s been too long since I’ve posted a drone shot I think! And why not one from one of my favourite places to take photos from the sky. 😍 β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” @djiglobal Mavic Pro @nisifiltersaustralia Mavic Pro CPL β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” 1 week ago

Who doesn’t like the mountains!? β›° β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” What a relaxing way to spend an evening, sitting on some rocks with a view over the valley watching the light slowly disappear up the sides of the cliffs. The blue mountains might not be huge but damn they are beautiful! ☺️ β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” @sonyaustralia A7Riii + 70-200 f4 G @nisifiltersaustralia Medium 3 stop GND @siruiaustralia W-2204 + K-30x ballhead β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” 2 weeks ago
After rain this place comes alive! πŸ’¦πŸ›€ β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” So I have a question.. Who’s a fan of focus stacking their images? Will you always do it when it’s necessary, or do you want to get it all in one shot to save you the trouble in photoshop? I chose to spend the time and focus stacked this image, so that I could get the close foreground plants in focus and still have the tunnel in focus too! πŸ‘€ β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” @sonyaustralia A7Riii @nisifiltersaustralia Landscape CPL (hugely helped with this shot) @siruiaustralia W-2204 β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” 2 weeks ago
Milky Way and City Lights πŸŒŒπŸŒƒπŸŒ‰ β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” Capturing the actual Milky Way core over the Sydney Harbour Bridge was exciting! As you may have guessed this isn’t a single exposure, BUT this shot was captured using multiple images taken over the space of about half an hour. Showing it’s possible to get this much detail in the core in the middle of the city! You can see the glow from the building lights to the right, but it still wasn’t enough to blow out the sky. πŸ˜ƒ Had the great company of @steph_vella for this shoot, so make sure to head over to her page to check out her amazing shot! πŸ₯³ β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” @sonyaustralia A7Riii @nisifiltersaustralia New V6 holder + Natural Night Filter @siruiaustralia W-2204 Tripod β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” 2 weeks ago
Last night’s sunset was a complete dud.. BUT sometimes it pays to get to a spot well before the sun actually sets. In this case I arrived at North Head to shoot over an hour before sunset, and got this burst of light right behind the city. πŸ’₯ β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” @sonyaustralia - A7Riii @nisifiltersaustralia - Landscape CPL @siruiaustralia - W-2204 β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” 3 weeks ago
The Milky Way from back in May last year! 🌌 β €β € I’m determined to share more content with you all, so I’m digging back into the archives to process shots from many shoots that I’ve done where I haven’t even looked at the photos yet πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ I hope you enjoy them! β €β € Walking around Stockton sand dunes trying to find a composition in the dark is never as easy task.
